About OCTax

 

OCTAX was formed in 1986 to bring together the interests of taxpayers from across the County in order to work collaboratively on issues facing taxpayers and businesses across this county.  OCTax has been a leader for innovating public policy through many difficult issues that Orange County has had to address.

 

Our mission is to always make sure that taxes, fees, bonds, and other public financing activities, obligations, and components that are entered into are always:

 

· Fair

· Understandable

· Cost-Effective

· And Good for Business

 

We believe in these principles in order to preserve and foster a dynamic economy in Orange County that keeps people employed, encourages entrepreneurship, and meets the needs of Orange County families and residents.
